Each classroom is outfitted with an audio visual cart filled with all of the best classroom technology available to make teaching here at the Marine Math and Science Academy a more enjoyable experience. The cart is meticulously designed and built so that you do not have to worry about any connection issues or fret over what plugs to use. There are only three connections you need to worry about making and each is extremely basic and easy.

Getting Started
Since the cart already comes assembled all you have to do for set up is plug it into the wall for power and connect your PC. It is recommended that you place the cart for use before class starts. Use your time in the morning before the first bell or during your prep periods to place the cart in front of the Smart Board or screen. Adjust the image so it fills the entire screen, then lock the wheels using the press breaks to keep the cart from moving.
On the front of the cart is a long black cord wrapped around a power strip. Unwrap the cord and plug it into the wall. It is long (30' ) and will provide you with enough length to place the cart anywhere in the room, though it shouldn't be any more than 6-8' from the screen. Make sure the cart is lined up perpendicular to the screen with the projector lens facing it. When you turn on the projector you may see the image is crooked. Move the cart so that the image is even. Small adjustments to the image can be made on the projector itself and we will cover that next.
